What a wonderful evening at Ristorante Zaytuna. Thanks to Google reviews we found this gem and wanted to leave a review of our own so other travelers can enjoy a delectable feast. My friends and I were craving fresh local produce and this place delivered. Every bite is delicious. Our waiter Billy was amazing, his service was friendly, informative and with a smile. He even deboned our fish, spoilt indeed. We recommend the fish, tabouli and antipasti.

It’s a simple restaurant offering food that seems very close to home cooked. We were touring Europe for the 2nd week and were craving something different apart from bread or pasta based dishes. We ordered the ‘cous cous di carne’ and the ‘tajine di pollo’ for dinner. The quantity was ample and the food delicious. Recommend this one if you are looking for something different.

Delicious, comfortable atmosphere. The Tunisian antipasti and brik pastry and chicken tajine were terrific.

We came for the smell and were not disappointed!Lovely friendly family run restaurant with real love in their restaurant and food! The antipasti tunisino consisted of 6 delicious dishes full of unique flavours. The couscous was wholesome and filling and came with a side of soup to pour over it.

This place is a delight - one of the best meals I enjoyed in Sicily (and the standards there are dauntingly high). While the restaurant doesn't necessarily cater for take-out, they graciously accommodated that request, and put together a stunning pescatarian meal. A rich, flavorful couscous, a stunningly good piece of fish, and a large selection of vegetarian appetizers that I've never had anywhere else. If you're in Sicily you might pause before trying something that is "not Italian," but you'd be doing yourself a disservice and missing a really wonderful meal.

Familiar restaurant. Very kind and great mix Arabic and Italian food. A great surprise inside inner Palermo. Nice fish couscous and Tunisian appetizers.
